MI The full rotary experience

Got an '86 RX-7 base almost 2 years ago; fully stock, great condition. Have been having fun just driving the **** out of it. Even took it to Tail of the Dragon. Was never a rotary fan before, but the car kind of fell into my lap and I've been loving it since. It would always loose a bit of coolant in the winter, and I thought it was the every-so-slightly leaky heater core. However, this spring the water jacket supports on the front and intermediate plates decided to let go so the whole engine is stripped down and getting ready for a rebuild. Already have a standalone for one of my other project cars, so the 6 port is probably going to get bridge ported with a set of ITB's before it gets put back in the car.

Any big RX-7 guys in MI? Have seen a couple around, but curious if there's any groups local

Located in southern-mid MI, but I'm very frequently around the Detroit area or Flint. She's not too much of a looker, but bodywork is the last project on the list at this point.
