ON New first gen owner

Hello everyone, my name is Kia. I recently bought an 82 for $200, has a good body and runs and drives. This is going to be my daily driver project as my rx8 is sitting over the winter waiting to be torn down and completely built as a 4 rotor street machine. The plan with the 82 is fd swap in it and go kinda with old jdm look. I have looked through these forums before now just feel its time to join, share info and my builds. I look forward to talking and meeting all the rotary heads out there.

If it has a good body AND the engine runs, you made the steal of the century for a 1stgen RX-7! Congratulations! Pics!! The battle plan with the FD engine is a good one and a popular one, so reading material on it is definitely here to plunder. Thanks for saving another 1stgen from the crusher, Kia, and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!! The more 1stgen folk who join, the better, sez I!

ON Pics of my rotaries

Thanks for the warm welcome and i'm glad to be here. Here is a couple pics of my new first gen with 168,000km's and a pic of my Rx8 with 164,000km's, so close together yet sooooo far apart. both cars are projects right now and i'm taking the bus to work everyday but it will be worth it.

Wow 200$ thats a STEAL especially if its not rusted/rotted out.
Nice to see that there are some fellow Canadians and Ontario people on these forums! Good luck with the build.

I've always had a soft spot for first gens. There's a few really nice ones here in south Florida.
