Hi All,

My name is Matt, I have just purchased a 2001 FD, Type R. Blue in Color, the car is stock apart from Enkei wheels.

My plans are to install a koyo radiator and metal AST and then just spend time on making the car as clean as possible, replacing rubbers/bushes,etc.

Previous to this (almost 10 years ago!!) I owned a 12a FB RX7 which I did a complete build on and attempted most work myself (paint/panel, engine, wiring, etc)

I am in Sydney and will be attending a few cruises, I have signed up here for the great tech threads.

It no longer has the BBS, I am running a set of Enkei with some sticky rubber.

Here is a pic of my old FB from 10 years ago, '79 model (we call a series 1 in Aus)



anyway, I am now off to change my gearbox oil with some quality oil and fix a few little things up. cheers guys.

* Replace Idler Pulley Bearing
* Fit new a/c Condenser
* Replace Gearknob
* New Hatch Rubbers (squeaks)
* Replace lighter with custom rotor shape item
* Respray Oil Coolers with hi temp black paint

should keep me busy for a while.
