Hello everyone, my name is Casey. I live in Huntington Beach, Ca. with my wife and 2 wonderful cats. I fix exotic cars for work and enjoy tinkering with cars at home so I figure the rx7 would be a good project. I have wanted an fd rx7 for quite some time, and I have never worked on a rotary engine before. Its in pretty rough shape but I am looking forward to bringing my new car back to life.
Here is a couple pics of the car, someone had spray painted the poor car white and did not bother to even mask off anything, so im in the process of removing it. I hope to have it looking like a car again soon and start driving it….

Welcome bro! I saw this car on craigslist and I had my eye on it since the poster had it yellow. I then noticed he painted it white and didn't mask anything and I was like what the heck haha! I'm glad someone like you bought it! Put this fd back on the road! Congratulations!

Thanks for the positive comments guys. The car was originally a Montego Blue Touring model, I was hoping the yellow paint was in better shape under all the spray paint but it looks like I am just going to end up putting a new paint job on it. I have been trying to decide between Yellow and white....

When I traded by my yellow RX8, the sales rep told me that Ferrari sued Mazda over their canary yellow color and forced them to stop using it. I don't know if that is true or not, but I think yellow is a great color for the vehicles.
