bro check ot adens tyres at the mount, he does the cheapest prices in nz, makes almost nothing on them, but sells a lot to make up 4 it. also does rotas cheapest in nz from a store, the only other cheaper option is trademe.

hey guys im from auckland ive got a black fd s7 single turbo setup making 500hp at the engine you guys should come up to aucks for a cruise

 

I'm still prepping for a cert, have a few minor things left to do, but once I'm legal I'm definitely keen.

I've only put around 700kms on this since it was rebuilt, so will be going for a re tune before the new year. Hoping to crack the 300KW at the wheels mark.

Definitely worth it.
The GT37 on mine is a cheapy Masterpower, cost $1,300 and is making 250kw at the wheels. This was at 18psi with an 11:1 afr and the timing backed off for run in.
We only did 2 runs at this boost to make sure that if anything went wrong with the wastegate it was safe.

Will be looking for 300kw atw ~20 psi with a better AFR and some timing put in, as at the moment it's retarded.

Only downfall with a cheap single turbo is that you lose some low end, but make up for it higher in the rev range.
