New fd owner & lovin it!

Hello all! My name is Preston, I own a 1998 supra original rsp tt 6sp for the past 20 years... I have always wanted an fd and I finally pulled the trigger at the worst time but they sure as heck aren’t going down in price so I figured I might as well before they become like most of our other imports and can’t afford them.
I will upload some pics soon, 1993, 5spd, black interior, 70k on the odometer, VR color, bone stock besides exhaust which is a non name brand (powerhouse amuse on order) and apexi stand alone engine management, ats tank mod, stance suspension and enkei wheels, Efini badges, 99 front lip and tail lights.
I have been a long time lurker and have been doing a ton of reading and research to learn the ins and outs of this platform. Hoping for 550-650 whp eventually...

This was the car someone posted in its own thread on the General Discussion forum when it was for sale. It looks like a very nice example. Hard to find an FD in good shape stock body w/ sequential twins like this one, in fact based on the # of registered FDs left in US there are probably less than 3% of those originally imported like this, i.e. less than 500 total. Good luck

Thank you, he was from Fremont area, really good guy. I paid through the nose for it, it had been repainted and not by the best in the world, but that is ok, I will put the time and money into it so it looks and feels right at home next to my supra.

The new 5.0 Mustang is a pretty decent car overall. Nothing to be ashamed of in any way. It will put a hurting on many cars costing much more. Ford has done a nice job improving the car over the years.

Absolutely agree, I steal it from him form time to time and it’s a really fun car to drive. It has the track pack with 3:73 gearing & a 6spd manual. It has more than enough power to get yourself into trouble through second gear and into third as we all have seen with the crowd surfing lol.
