Have any one of you guys experienced rusting on the fender frame rails? Trying to find it on the forum

 

when I took delivery it came with a huge gt wing and a veilside body kit which we took off immediately. It's currently being stripped for body work.

Where did the car come from? The rust you mentioned is unusual. If the car lived its life in a heavy salt air environment then the rust would be a certain eventuality.

 

It's from Japan, until 2011 and in the Caribbean since then

 

Looks like a solid start to a project! Tackle that rust first and you wont regret it later!
