New FD owner

Hey what’s up y’all! New to the rotary game. Just recently bought an FD RHD from japan. Just got here to the states. Looking for some suggestions on what to do with it. As of right now it’s pretty much stock with twin turbos

Yes. Other than reliability mods, leave it alone! Enjoy the car.

FYI- Most of the complaints of reliability comes from owners ******* up their own cars.

Congratulations on the new car and welcome to the forum!

I would strongly recommend checking if the ECU has been replaced with aftermarket - usually a Power FC. If so; be sure to get a tune done for North America gasoline to avoid any nasty surprises.

Get a boost gauge and see how she's holding boost. Those old vacuum lines harden and crack overtime. Once you have her back to running good, you have some reading to do. Refer to the FAQ section posted on the forum, it should answer most of your questions.
