New FD on the block.

Hey guys and gals! My name is Colter.
Very excited to be here as I just put my deposit down on a red 93 FD with 79k on it.

I found it in Kentucky, drove down from Ohio to look at it, now I'm just waiting to drive down there with a trailer and bring it back. I could drive it back, but there is a coolant leak, and I didnt want to blow it up before I got it home! Everything is stock except for an HKS exhaust.

More pics to come, but here's some from their garage and Hurricane Jack catching up on some reading. I will be need a drivers headlight cover if anyone has one.

Cheers!

Gisele sure is looking sweet! So have you had other RX7's before the FD?

Welcome. Your car looks pretty decent. Unfortunately Gisele is a bit faded.

Great looking FD! As for the headlight cover....just buy one at the dealer that way the plastic is nice and new (just needs paint). Older headlight covers will usually break off at the screw tabs.

It's my first RX-7. My brothers first car was an FC and he still has that, so I have a slight background with them, but really know nothing about rotaries except they are magic triangles in ovals.

Yeah she is a bit faded, got it for a steal though . Starting tinkering around with her last night and put a dab of wax on the roof to see how easily it will be to brighten her back up, and just some wax brought new life to the paint. Whenever we get some good weather I'll do a full detail with a buffer and clay bar the whole car.

I'll check that out and see how much they want to overcharge me. I can get two shipped for about $60, but in silver, so we'll see.

So hard to be at work knowing I have an FD sitting in the garage at home haha!
