New fc owner
Hey guys I'm from the Harrisonburg, va area, and I should be picking up a 86 base sometime in the next week. I have been wanting a FC for a long time, and I can't pass up the deal I'm getting on this one. I have love for 80s cars I recently sold my mint 88 Conquest TSi. Once I get it I will be posting more info on it and pictures, and probably a couple questions lol.
Well, Broc, thanks for remembering this old 2010 account and reviving it as opposed to creating a new account. Thanks also for the love of 80's cars and saving another FC from a possible untimely end!
let me toss some posts your way because I truly appreciate the folk who do that.
You got questions, this place has got your answers. Welcome back to RX-7 Club!

Wow thanks I appreciate the warm welcome. I went to pick it up today but his yard was too muddy to get it out. All I know is right now he bought it 3 years ago drove it home, and it wouldn't start, so he parked it and there its sat. Actually... here is his exact quote from facebook, "Heres the story about the car, I bought it 2 years ago for 2grand I drove it home and later that day it wouldnt start I checked all of the fuses and grounds and after that I went and bought new coils wires and plugs 500$ cus thats what everyone said the problem was but it didnt work so I got a dizzy and a ecu still nothing. The ecu isnt geting any power so I put a new ingition switch in it still no ecu power. I havent messed with is since. It really pissed me off."
Damn that sucks. I don't know if I'm alone but I like fcs more than fds lol. I daily a '11 Mustang too btw. This car will be a fun project, probably won't get very serious with it for some time.
