New FB RX7 Owner In Southern Alberta

Hello All,

So after years of owning a brutal twinturbo FD RX7 I just bought my first FB RX7 (1983 GS).

I am a very proud owner as she is in excellent condition after being lovingly cared for by one older owner for the past 33 years!

The previous owner recently had her been resprayed in the factory colour, had the interior re-upholstered and installed a brand new Mazda 12A crate engine that as <1000kms on it! (they had one stored since the early 90's)

I look forward to being involved in the community and the website.

Tom

My past ride

Hey all, so I wrongly made too many "Introduce yourself posts" (note to self read the forum rules!).

Obviously I currently have an FB RX7. I have done quite a bit of work on it over this summer to get it running right, including a full rebuild of the transmission and some extensive learning of the carburetor system.

So hopefully I can share my knowledge to help others doing the same.

I also wanted to share a quick pic of my last project; a 1999 RX7 from when I lived in New Zealand.

Hopefully I can talk to and meet some FB and FD fans out here in Alberta!

Tom

Thanks!

It was a bit pricey but worth it. Its a smaller diameter than the stock one and really livened up the steering.
