So here it goes. I have been on the forum for awhile just looking at cars I love. I have been planning on purchasing one in the future as I sit and drool over these cars. My current car is a 08 Mazdaspeed3 which I use for everyday driving and fun sometimes. My current racecar sits as a 95 Trans Am which is setup for X275. I have always loved the rx7 but now that I am in position to finally get one I am really excited. My biggest thing is if I plan on going rotary or dare say it, but put in my small block. The thought of rotary has made me nervous but I would love to try my hand at the rotary. I am thinking if I don't like the rotary I could always sell it and put in the small block later. I was trying to read all the rules but figured I got the gist of it. If I missed something let me know.

Welcome.

The 7 will be fun with either engine. You will have more power everywhere but especially on the low end with the small block.

Yeah I just have to look at cost of maintaining the rotary and the ability for me to work on it. Once I sell the above mentioned transam I will get the 7. So for now I will read the threads and try to get more info on them.
