New to car ownerships and rotarys
Picked up my first car last week a white 1990 RX-7 GXL for 1,804$. I've been on the forums a few times browsing (alot of really nice fc's and picked up the very basics of your lingo). So the car came with 212 thousand on it and a few small problems like a leak in the sunroof and the rear windshied wiper doesn't work.
How i came to get my RX-7:
I started shopping around for a car a couple of months ago and i found my dream car a 93 nissan 240sx for 4000$ with 150 thousand about halfway through my saving journey i began to lose faith as saving was taking FOREVER.
So I gave up and decided to find something else, hit up the first used car lot my dad and I passed and saw this little white sports car with no rust and a well taken care of body. The salesman handed me the keys and I started her up. As soon as it cranked over I knew I had to have it.
What got me was the sound, even for a non turbo it sounded amazing with the dual exhuast. The salesman gave me a 5 minute intro into rotaties and driving manual and before the night was over it was home. After a few harrowing stalls in the middle of an intersection i found the clutch point and had an amazingly smooth ride home with only bucking the car twice. Although the ride was 90% highway.
And so ends another newbies story.
