Hello everyone - new to the world of rotaries, but not my first foray into old cars. Started off in college with my first old car - a '74 Datsun 260Z, then 8 years old, and followed that with a string of other Z-cars. Two '71 240Zs and a '77 280Z that I still have sitting in a garage, waiting for their restorations. Somewhere along the way picked up a '65 Corvette, and was handed down a '91 Z-28 convertible that was my Mom's. Needless to say, I'm short on garage space. :-)

My wife had always wanted a 1st gen RX-7, ever since they were brand new in the early 80s. Finally decided to fulfill that dream, and found a clean '84 SE that was relatively unmolested. Body is clean and straight, mechanicals are reasonably solid, just needs some long overdue maintenance on stuff like window mechanisms, etc. Previous owner converted it to 2-stroke, which I'm still on the fence about, but for now, it's a lot of fun. Really reminds me of my 240Zs, which unfortunately I haven't driven since about 1994.
