Hey everyone I'm new on here well actually not that new I've been registered for a while and well I'm planning on finishing my build and getting an FD3S RX-7 next summer
now for my other car's
I recently bought myself a 2001 Mazda Protege with 2002 engine that only has 75000km, no rust, all electric sunroof, windows mirrors cruise control , black interior and 5bolt pattern with disk brakes and calipers at all 4 :P didnt pay that much too pretty clean for what i paid, cracked windshield though... Well wtv it's my beater but I do have a love for mazda and this is where it starts
i had bought the car for the winter at a really good price, but now i plan on making it an awesome daily drive, bought some 8000k hid kit and some anti-flicker last night so can't wait to get that, also i polished the headlights as they were pretty yellow and foggy
before
after
my plans for the winter are to get some good winter tires, sand and paint the mags silver or charcoal, install a light bar with two piaa fogs
something along the lines of the rallyinnovation light bar but 2inch piping
im also going to want to do the mx-6/626 5th speed gearing mod from a g transmission as seen here
http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showt...-5th-Gear-Swap
and i plan on buying a mazda protege 5 wagon for parts next summer, i'll be taking the bumper and sideskirts for my protege, the engine will be kept for spare and maybe forged and turbo'd in the future, the doors and electrical interior will go into my gf's mazda protege and if im lucky i'll have the stock 16inch mp5 mags otherwise i love the look of the rx8 18inch mags that i've seen on a couple of posts
