New California FC Owner

Hello everyone my name is Kurt, i'm 18 years old and i'm from the Bay Area in California. I just purchased my first car which is a 1989 Rx7 GXL so I thought that I would find a forum that I could meet other Rotary enthusiasts. Thanks for looking and I look forward to talking to some of you soon.

My 89 FC

I joined for the same reasons as you, except that I'm about 7 months away from getting a learners permit and waaaaaaaaaay long to get a car. If you don't mind me asking, how do you afford insurance? My parents are always saying getting the car is the cheap part but insurance is the expensive one and that I can't possibly afford a car until I have a full time job. Sucks, I know... I really want an FC!

Yes it is extremely clean, only 80k original miles the original owner babied it since the day he bought it but he recently passed away so I am trying as hard as I can to keep it in that condition.

and baldolera1 im having to pay for college for the next couple years so my father has agreed to cover my insurance for a little while so im lucky on that part

Word of caution! Respect the car, it'll spank on Porsche's with some simple tuning. A lot of kids end up wreaking the 7's thinking it's a toy. It's design is incredible! A real ballz to the wallz type of car, Aryton Senna Bad! I'm not trying to scare you, but excite you and warn you. Btw don't let you idiot friends drive it, they'll try to drift it and crash it! It's not a 240sx (Trust i've had 5!) It's not a little FF Ricer, It's a GT car just waiting to be built by the right guy with the right stuff! Do you have what it takes to unlock it's potentials? I hope so, because she waits your skill level to hit 65 to start pushing her into the future!

You wont have to worry considering it took me almost a year to find an FC that was completely stock , untouched, and that was in good condition. And no I am not going to let anyone else drive it and i'm am already religiously maintaining it, So its in good hands.
