New From California

Hi guys Names Jesse from Pomona ca just bought my first Rx7 Fc (1988) heard this was the best forums For Rotarys Still debating on whether to convert my car into manual or sell it and buy a new one any suggestions.? Other then that really happy that I finally got one !

Hey Jesse. Welcome! I'm Ron.

If you are happy with the FC you have then keep it and save up for the manual swap parts. You may not find another clean and perfectly functioning FC.

yeah, depends on how clean your car is. FC parts are easy to find, so a conversion shouldn't be a problem. Unless your car is mediocre, id save the hassle and sell it to buy another already 5 speed.

Thanks for the help Guys really helped me out a lot ! Its actually in great condition Interior still looks like its New not that many miles The conversion doesn't sound bad at all.

lucky you! yeah convert it. i just bought a very much less than perfect car with a ton of issues and you dont want that!

i personally love manual trans, but a conversion is pretty expensive and relatively hard to do without proper tools man, auto is always more convenient too! just cant drift or drive AS spirited
