new Brunswick newbie

Mechanic by trade, several mustangs in the garage but i fell on a 79 rx7....
had one in high school, 84, for a short time seen this on and got it. i get it in the shop and start looking and this car has sway bars, adjustable coilovers in front adjustable springs/spacers in back, crazy links on rear diff, wheel flares and a wide wheel kit??? needs paint but it goes good, not crazy but goes better than i remember. it has a b13 re egi in it and works well. I see a lot of mods so I hope to post some pics and get some help figuring out what I got here.
thanks
brad

The trailer is the load of parts from tranny, to interior, fans, engine, glass, exhaust headers etc, wheelr and tires were used a couple of times on a road course. This car was an estate sale deal so no reggie yet, I have drove it home and to paint and back, seems to work really well but I can't wait to get it out for a drive....

For just regular non synthetic oil I use Valvoline as recommended by a 30+ year rotary builder and former master Mazda technician.

Man that car is awesome you are so lucky to have found it!

something I forgot to mention earlier, this car acts stupid cold, won't idle, i see a dashpot or solenoid, electrical device that could push on the throttle cam, is this for cold start, is there a starting procedure?
Thanks

Rotaries typically make linear power all the way up to like 8 or 9 grand. I wouldn't take it past 8 though as there is really no point.

As for the other stuff you should now start consulting the 1st gen section as there is TONS of info for your engine, also some of the most knowledgeable people on this site hang out in the 1st gen section.
