Hi all,
Picked up a manual 1983 Rx-7 GSL this week, runs super well, drove it 2 hours home. There's some cosmetic damage that should fixed soon enough, then maybe I'll post pictures. I'm located in Cleveland, Ohio, but will be bringing the car back down to school in Atlanta in the fall. Glad to be here.
cheers

Engine and suspension was rebuilt about 30k miles and 2 owners ago, after it sat for many, many years in storage. Last owner seemed to have taken good care of it, and drove it regularly but there's definitely some work to be done before she's back to tip top shape. Runs like a charm though.

It has the 3 piece Targa Top band and I believe Carroll Shelby wheels, which are pretty cool, but the tires are toast. First orders of business are new tires, there's a rust hole under the rear driver wheel well that should be patched, rear defroster and wiper need to be fixed and I'm sure something else will break before those things gets finished haha. Going to do all new fluids this weekend as well. The paint is clearly a cheap respray so long term, maybe new paint and suspension upgrades

Welcome!!! Would love to see pictures of the car!!! And what's awesome is that you're only about 45 mins from me! If you ever need any help or any parts or want to hang with a fellow rotary enthusiast feel free to get ahold of me!
