Made an account finally!
Hello everyone!
I just moved to the Raleigh, NC area from Eureka, CA. I have a 1988 S4 chassis (I think GTU, thats that a vin search comes up with) with a S5 Tii swapped in. I'm running an older Adaptronics select e420d ecu. I rebuilt the engine during the summer of 2019 which now has around 2,500 mi on it. Stock rebuild, stock ports, only a few oil related mods like aluminum oil pellet and extended/baffled oil pan (holds ~7 Qt). I also have RA super seals, a slightly ported wastegate, AEM 340 lph fuel pump, and all that can be deleted off the intake system blocked off with LRB Speed plates. I'm proud to say I built the engine myself (first engine of any kind), but I cannot leave out the parts/help I got from BLUE TII and his nephew, my good friend. The chassis is fair, half gutted and more drift oriented. I have cheap GodSpeed coilovers, custom frog arms, bash bars, rear steer delete, welded diff, NRG harness bar, Sparco Sprint seat, MOMO wheel, and a hydro e-brake. I try and do/make most things myself like my ugly radiator ducting (works) and the car is rattle canned blue with some clear coat too. I always say, the less I care about looks the harder I drive it I soon plan on getting a KoyoRad N-pass radiator to upgrade from stock.
If anyone is in Raleigh, please comment as I would love to have some new rotary friends!
