Hi everyone,

I have been looking for a new project for a while. My first car is a 1997 Honda Prelude but I feel it is coming to completion of the list of things I wanted to do to it. My new project had to be something different, something rear wheel drive, so I was looking for an FC and finally found one in good shape.

Just a couple days ago I bought a 1987 RX-7 GXL with 81,000 original kms (50,000 miles). The body and interior are in good shape and the engine is running strong. I did a lot of research on this site last week before going to see the car and found the FAQ FC section to be very helpful.

There are some minor electrical problems that need to be fixed such as the high speed wipers, cruise control, some warning lights not functioning. It definitely needs a new suspension setup and I have yet to bring it for an inspection of other components that need to be replaced. My first priority is doing a full fluids flush and probably other 60k maintenance.

I am a regular poster on prelude forums and have a ride thread that I constantly update and I am hoping to do the same with the FC on here.
