Just this past monday I bought my first car. I bought a very abused and neglected 1985 RX7 that has close to 300,000 miles on it and by some miracle it still runs with the original engine.

I will be restoring it and swapping out the engine to a LS1 or a SR20 (other suggestions are welcome).

I will probably ask a bunch of stupid questions in the near future since I have almost no mechanical experience ( the guy who was supposed to help me was relocated due to work).

This is gonna be a hell of a project, but if you can put up with me, I would love to be a part of this website.
