My se3p from barcelona need help
Hello, my name is Ivan, I'm from barcelona (spain)
I own a Rx8 currently has compression problems in the second rotor. As you already do not have any kind of warranty I thought about the option to make a swap in my se3p. My favorite option is the twin engine turbo fd, even ahead of the Renesis rebuild. Make a dream would be a 20b ... but maybe too crazy economic.
is easy to make an engine swap to fd rx8, to what extent it is feasible? I think I used the transmission and engine mounts rx8 is this correct?
I accept all kinds of opinions, someone recommended me RENESIS rebuild and upgrade with a turbo?
Thanks in advance and greetings
PD: sorry, my English is horrible ... if someone handles well with Spanish, I would appreciate ...

dont turbo the renesis. baddddd bad idea. it will blow i garantee it. the renesis motors are not made for boost, i know first hand. go to rx8club.com and read about turbo charging the renesis motor i forgot exact details but i believe the exhaust ports cant withstand the pressure and heat build up causing the motor to blow in that area. not to mention the renesis is built with 1mm seals and is a high compression motor. lower compression is better for turbos..
i believe i got that all correct... but double check.
i had the greddy turbo kit on my 8 and it blew... and thats a weeee wittle baby turbo :p

A.K.A. rotoryrican
I agree ^^^ Don't turbo the reni. To do a swap properly, look to spend at least 7 to 10k minimum. there are 13brew swaps and 20b swaps do around central florida. That's about the average.

thanks for your comments guys. I am ever more convinced to do the swap. But just to be a circuit car, soon proceed to empty the car's interior to remove and sell things, that's always good.
