This is my RX-7. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I should ammend the title to: "This is my RX-7. There aren't many like it, because mine is FUBAR"

Details:
YEAR: 1985
MAKE: MAZDA
MODEL: RX-7
TRIM: ?
ENGINE: 12a - Carbureted

Looking to get it street worthy, but may have plans to go ***** out autocross / track in the future.

Since this is a new member post, Ill just leave a photo of how the engine bay looked when I got it. More photos in future post along with many advice requests. Glad to be part of the community!

If vacuum tubes were teeth this engine would be a crack *****.

Wow! and I thought I was the only one! I'm restoring a car that was parked under a tree in N. Cal for 20 years. I probably wouldn't have taken it on but #1 it was free, #2 I actually owned the car from 1985-1990. An old friend saved it (sort of) and offered it to me a month ago. Here is what my engine looked like day#1:

Good luck to both of you. Lews83GA that will make for a great story once you get it back up and running. Start a thread and keep us posted.
