My new money pit
Evening all. Finally managed to join the club with this 92 JDM R1 that I recently purchased. She’s mostly factory (with the exception of wheels and a muffler) and I plan on keeping her that way, while adding a few reliability mods here and there - that’s until the bank can allow me to go single
Excited to get this thing back on the road after being dormant for over a year!

Can't say much about its history unfortunately. I know it was imported into New Zealand in 99 and according to odometer readings it has sat for almost 10 years of its life. I bought it with the motor not running and plan on either rebuilding it or putting a crate motor in as I haven't had any luck with getting it started and running for over 5 seconds. Maybe I'll have to head over to the technical threads and have a poke around! Hopefully I can get some more photos on the weekend too.
