My New 1994 FD3S Type RII

Hi All,

Just brought my first FD. It seems I've taken on a bit of a project, after a week of ownership its already in the shop getting a new gearbox installed but such is life.

Congrats on getting into the FD club! I'm looking for one myself and while the potential issues/maintenance scare me a bit, just comes with the territory it seems.

No need to be scared about it, just do your research and have the car looked at by someone who knows what they're doing. Even though I have to spend a little more on this car than I originally expected to I have no regrets, this is by far the most fun car I've ever owned.

Speaking of which - if anyone in the NYC/northeast US area has suggestions on where to get PPIs done, definitely let me know.

I love black cars but just not feeling those wheels personally. I’d love to pick up a FD someday but the prices keep going up :/

Personally the wheels are one of my favorite parts of the car, unfortunately I'm gonna have to change them out soon as they aren't legal here.
