My first RX7 - 1993 FD
hey guys, new to the forum, recently picked up a FD from my friend who crashed it about 2 years ago and has been sitting in his uncles mechanics shop
the car was hit in the front passenger side, i checked it out and there is no frame rail damage so it's just a replacement of the radiator support, a little pull time, and new body panels, i already have a pair of JDM fenders that i will use, and my friend has a shine feed's style front bumper that i'm getting for cheap, for the hood, i'll probably get a VIS Racing hood since my friend is a manager there and i get stuff for half price
the FD has always been one of my favorite cars since i was a little kid, and i never had the time, spare cash, or space to buy one
i've always had honda's, and have built a couple magazine cars, currently building another civic from the ground up with all brand new parts from the dealer, a slow project, i'm keeping it pretty simple, no more motor swaps, track suspension, roll cages, etc. this is going to be a super clean, fresh, rebuilt, brand new feeling civic that i will be driving on the street, it's going to be with the stock SOHC VTEC that has been completely refreshed, all new gaskets and hardware

before that i had my integra, was my daily driver that i drove the crap out of, very comfortable car, had suspension good for the track, kept power steering and air conditioning, full JDM Type-R interior with recaro's and carbon panels
DUMATEG
before that i had my RHD EG6, imported from japan in 2007, registered and driven on the streets 3-4 times a week, had a JDM ITR K20A motor with a built head, track suspension, safety21 roll cage, ITR 5 lug brake conversion with spoon calipers, recaro spg's, all the goodies, made 233whp and 165 ft/tq on a dynojet, ran a 12.2 quarter mile at sac raceway in 2009, this thing was a beast on the streets, very fun to drive
