My first rotary engine Mazda

Hey guys! This is my 1988 NA S4 I picked up 6 months ago, at the time I was very undereducated and over paid for it but regardless it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Of course there is still an endless amount to learn and I'm here willing... though since owning my fc I've learned alot about it. Looking back now it would have definitely been more convenient starting with a factory turbo car, if I could go back though I wouldn't do anything different! I love my car. Im not sure if I have more hours wrenching on it or more hours sitting and simply staring at it, admiring it and planning. Thank you for looking! Cheers from Vancouver Island, Canada!

First day home with the car

5 lug conversion with turbo ii brakes and a temporary driveway paintjob

Fresh black interior swapped in, new nardi wheel with RE-Amemiya horn button!

Fresh engine bay paint job

Engine bay simplified, filled in roughly 80 holes afterwards and laid down the new colour

Fresh undercoat applied. Foresight 60mm fenders front and rear are shipping from japan later this month along with some other super rad parts!

welcome to the board.

congrats on the car. i liked the written part of your intro as well. you've done quite a bit in 6 months. i really dig the paint job.

what's the deal with the flash-to-pass space? i can't really tell what you've got there.vent? was it a part of your bumper or was it something you made? either way, i like it.

They are vents made by a company called black tie motorsports. Thank you by the way! Cheers
