Hello everyone,

Recently purchased an 82 RX7 for $1000. Interior and exterior are both in surprisingly good shape for its year, and it only had 130k miles on it. Fell in love with it the first time I drove it. Still learning its quirks (Never seen a choke on a car before) but I'm liking it more every day.

I am very new to cars, and with this car needing some love in areas I am looking forward to it being a fun learning experience. Carburetor needs either a rebuild or a replacement, rear window needs new hydraulics and a new wiper motor, side windows need either a clean out or new motors, antenna needs to be repaired, exhaust has a crack, and the interior needs a bit of detailing. Thankfully, my boss at work is great with cars in general, and RX7's in particular.

Anyways, excited to have found this forum. It looks like a great place.

I have an 83 I just bought for $600.00. Perfect body but no interior to speak of lol. I would love to throw ideas back and forth on the mods for them. I am also looking for any cheap ideas you may come across.

Hey, I'm also from eugene and having some engine problems with my GSL-SE. If you know anyone reliable who can work on them or at least give me some diagnostic information or ideas, please let me know! And you know, we could hang out and talk about how awesome rx-7s are. Haha
