Red face My first Mazda

I bought my first Mazda (actually my hubby did it for me) on ebay. She's in Denver and I'm in Taos NM. Anyone want to deliver her? Seller says she runs fine.

I come from a Chevy family and am used to wrenching around, but the last decade I have been terribly frustrated with fuel injection, and power accessories. My 1979 XR7 should satisfy my desire to do my own maintenance and restoration work. I know NOTHING about these motors other than to see that they have a loyal fan club. Good enough for me to jump right in. I never did my own engine anyway.

I can hardly wait to see her and give her a name. I fear I will be grateful to have a community to lean on, as I discover my new challenge (spent less than $500... what do you expect?).

I'm going to study the glossary.

Is there a best owners' manual I need immediately?

Welcome.

Best thing to do at this stage is to read the 1st gen FAQ thread where there is a lot of archived knowledge.
