The Scary 7

I am a car lover and admirer of cars for not just being a form of transportation but for being works of art. I have owned many different kinds of cars old and new but was always afraid of the RX-7 due to its rotary engine which I knew very little about. Since doing much research and learning about them I feel my fear subsiding. I will eventual buy one once I'm ready. I will need to sell one of my cars to replace one because I can't hold on to more then 5 of them at once plus 1 everyday car. To many and it gets very hard to give them attention they need. So nice to be here and looking forward to the future!

Now to figure out how to edit your post? It mentions you can but don't see how?

Edit:

It now lets me? It must have changed from having more posts to it now allows editing?

Thank you, I would like to get the FD type and I think maybe a 1994 or 1995. I have read about the 78 vacuum hoses wow that is a lot of them. So I would like to do all the important reliably things first and for most. I own a 1979 Porsche 930 and was going to ask if other 930 owners might have an RX7 and compare the two in terms of difference in the driving experience. The thing I like about rotary engines is that they have very little moving parts so no valve wear or guide wear to worry about. Also, no timing belt or chain to break. Its amazing and im glad a car like it was made! Marry Christmas

I've got 150k on my NA... and expect at least another 50k. However, if you have a turbo and you drive it hard it WILL give you problems.
