My first car=My first rotary, hoping to meet some cool smart people
Hey there first off my names Tyler Davis, Tee Why (T Y) is the name that stuck with me though. I'm from peterborough ontario 20 mins away from toronto.
First off I'll tell you the story of how I got my 1979 Mazda RX-7!!! its a pretty funny story, I posted a ad on Kijiji looking for a car for nice rear wheel drive car for $1000, it took like a week and this guy called me and told me about this RX-7 he had just pulled outta storage to sell, well I went to look at it, I was exspecting a third gen RX-7 like that beautiful one from fast and the furious. I got there and seen this dirty old RX-7 with a broken driver seat. only thing that made me want it was there wasnt a single spot of rust anywhere on the body no bondo no dents this car was in great shape.
it turned out I wasn't gonna buy the car because this stupid kid told me $1000 till a day before and then someone else wanted it for $1400 so I told him to take that because I'm not paying 1400 for a car that doesn't run. the next day a guy called me and asked me if I'm still intrested in the car and I told him ya but I spent some of the cash, this guy was totally diffrent and came to my house brought the car and the ownership, turns out this stupid kid was just storing it at his house and was trying to rip me off :P
well i got the car cleaned the carb and now its idling at 6000 rpm, It's a 1979 mazda RX-7, there is so much wrong with this car it is mind blowing but I'm thinking about droping a new engine in it. First i wanna try and get this one running right, This is my project car
still gonna buy a nice big truck, I'm a country boy, always have been... if anyone has tips about how to fix the idling at 6000rpm please tell me what you did to fix that.

I bought this car for $400 and a 1975 ski-doo olympic and 1985 moto-ski, best deal I ever got on in my life :P... But ya I was wondering anything there is to know about these beautiful cars, It's my baby now, It's red and ill post pictures of it as soon as i get some have a great day and sorry for double posting I couldn't find the edit
