my 89 convertable fc for $300

Hi my name is Chad and im from Leesville, LA. I just recently purchased a 89 fc convertable for 300 bucks! The way i found it was by my friends friend, it was her brother and he had the poor baby on some jack stands with no tires but atleast he had a car cover on it. He told me it has been sitting for about 6 months and the guy he got it from had it sitting for about 4 months. He said he drove it from the guys house he got it from and it was shooting out black smoke, now i never owned a rotary but ive done my research and its either bad air/fuel ratio or apex seal (i think that what they are called) are bad. but on with the rest of the car its a 5 speed and the interior is all taken out but its sitting in the car, its all there though. he said he had to take the carpet out cuz the car had been flooded, said the guy told him it was a katrina car. he said it ran after it was flooded though, cuz thats how he got it to his house. sorry to keep rambling, other then that, the headlight relay needs to be replaced and the wiring fix cuz he cut it out or something cuz he wanted them to stay up, idk. and there is a small ding in the passenger rear quarter. The car has real potential, Ive never owned a rotary but im so excited to get it road worthy and drive it. i love the way the motor sounds oh yeah its NA, i wish it was turbo :/. now that ive introduced myself i want to say i am happy to join a great community of rotary powered people. ill get some pics up as soon as i can and take you guys along for the ride of this car going from a machine sitting on some jack stands to a fire breathing rotary powered beast that it should be.
