Hello everyone,

Names Josiah and I'm new to the rotary world. After selling off my Galant VR-4 (4th mitsu I've owned) I decided it was time for something completely different. FWD was out of the question and AWD was losing it's charm with me so that left only one option. After spending alot of time talking with friends and doing my own research; I was set to go for a Mazda or a Nissan. Well as things would have it I said no to the Nissan's and started searching for a Mazda. Came across this 07' RX-8 GT at a local dealership. Decided to take a look at it, car was low milage 20k and in pretty good shape. After getting the compression checked, I decided to take the plunge into rotaries.

I picked her up one week prior to ROTD, big bummer but oh well I was able to take my own trip a few weeks later with my old Navy buddy/roommate from San Diego. Here are some pictures from the trip and of the car.

Josiah, are you sure you went to the right place? There is a sister board for the RX-8 and we don't have any sub-board here dedicated to that car for that reason? We'll be more than happy to lift that engine for a 1stgen RX-7 and all but still.....

Yeah I'm sure. Realized after i submitted it that i left out my RX-7 intentions. I'm planning on picking up a FC in the near future to make my auto-x car. So until than I'm going to sit back and learn as much as i can. Would love to find a TII but ill see what i can find. So anyways back to gawking and learning.

Got some good news, for me at least. Found out yesterday that my approval for transfer got approved. Tomorrow will be my last day working in Roanoke, starting next week I will be working for the railroad in Linwood, NC.

I'm originally from Mount Airy, NC and have been hoping to make the move back to be closer to my family and friends. Got a few friends down there with rotaries. One RX8 and one FC.
