Smile MI owner, currently in Japan

Hey everyone, my name's Rob. About two years ago I bought a clean FC GTU from the original owner. 30K on the original engine and not a spot of rust anywhere.

Right after I dropped the money on this beauty, I relocated to Japan for two years. I've been home twice after I left and the car fires up and drives as if it was started yesterday. My father has been looking after it while I'm gone which I think is code for he's driving it on the weekends.

So at the moment, my FC is silently sitting under a car cover waiting for me to come play with it. The car is wonderful to drive, but the check engine light comes on after about an hour of hard driving and the engine bogs horribly. I assume its a sensor because the moment I turn the key off the car pops right back to life as if nothing is wrong. Luckily I will have more than enough time to work on it when I come back to the states.

I've been a part of this site since I bought the car, but after leaving the states I never got around to actually doing anything here. I'm going to fix that today.

Below are pictures (sorry there aren't more. one of the many things I need to do when I get back):

Thanks. Hopefully she hasn't aged too badly while I've been away.

I can't throw a rock without hitting at least three FD's.
