NC Lurking FC owner

Been through the site a few times and iv made some post about front lips for the FC. Figured id say hey.

1988 FC started as a NA 4 bolt bare bone FC. Had the car for 3 years and took about 1.5 years to build and iron out the bugs. Now it has a ford 302 V8 (no hate for the tangles, bought the car with a blown motor and I posted an ad looking to trade a truck I had built for something I could v8 swap "volvo 240 wagons, RX7, 944 ect" traded for this FC) the PO was about to part it out so I kinda saved it. So it now has 5 lug, LSD, ploy bushings, struts/springs, 302, 5speed, walboro 255, ect, ect. Nothing crazy but a fun car.

I have drifted the car a few times and plan to do a bit more once I get a house with a garage. Right now it does 1/2 the job of DD, if its not crazy cold or wet im driving it to and from work in city traffic (love the looks I get when people hear it pass by). Has about 10,000 miles on the swap and no signs of slowing down.

Im in the Raleigh area and try to make it the the cars and coffee when I can.

Although I, like many, would rather see a rotary in there you've dona a heck of a job. Plus the motor was already blown so I can't hate on you too much I LOVE the simple and eye-catching exterior looks. At first I didn't like the engine bay color... but... now I'm wondering what a grey engine bay tied into a grey interior would look like. Wanted to stop in and give you some love on a clean looking car and officially welcome you to the Club.

Thanks! jjandros, Ya I sold the motor to someone who was going to build it/turbo it and toss it into a Opel GT? Some kind of Opel. I picked the grey because for one it just needed to be painted the stock paint was in to bad of shape and after talking to a few race guys about why there interior and bay were gray they all said it was to see and find any leaks faster. So I borrowed there idea and it does show any leaks much better then plane black. On the flip side it shows dirt better so you have to stay on top of it..

For the outside I used the 01-04 Mustang lip and painted it to mach and I built the side skirts myself from rain gutters... Yes PVC rain gutters. They came out really good most people ask where they come from/ who makes them so most don't think they are DIY which is awesome!

Here is a video I did on making them,
