In love with my FC

Hi all, just got my hands on my first car; a FC 89 Jap model!Biggest stress week when i was 'thinking' about buying it. I did what people around me told me not to... "don't buy a rotary this don't buy a rotary that" but once i saw the FC in real life instead of pictures - nothing could stop me from buying it.. the S5 tail lights ... the exhaust idle sound.... i think im in love - Paullie

Yeap Turbo'ed!~ i believe it is a GTX savanna model. I've already started pouring money into it, feel stupid at times because most of my income is basically spent on the FC but at the end of the day it puts a smile on my face.

Eventually you will experience a "calm" meaning you won't have the need to put money into it anymore. It doesn't last long though lol.

The "calm" gives you a chance to save more. Meaning bigger and more expensive parts to buy!

this calm feeling i don't reckon i will experience for another year or 2 lol but i cant wait!
Something i found funny on the weekend; my mate was reversing the car down my 20-30m driveway and my mum came out and said "what the hells wrong with the car sounds like its gonna die/explode soon" This was only stock as well imagine if it was ported LOL

Similar story, down in Gardena the morning of 7stock, we had all started our Rx7s (like 13 cars) up in front of my friend's house at like 4:30 in the morning, and the cops show up 10 minutes latter... the third cop to get out of his car asks his superior if "a bunch of lawn mowers just got started up" hahaha. We were like "oh heck no he did not just say that" lol

Here are two pics from the sale ad when i bought the FC (i havent taken any pics yet).

Its currently a matt black paintjob which isn't too shabby but id like to return it to its original colour which i believe is gun metal grey or charcoal grey.

The goal is to keep the car stockish and running healthy for one year, then start doing reliable upgrades. From my research and reading the forums - new ECU, Exhaust, intake & air filter... possbily FMIC?

Ive been cleaning up the interior (some new dash vents, powerwindow switches etc) and just started to put a sound system in (currently sound deadening the doors).
