ON Lookingto get into a fd

Hello rx7 world.
I am coming from the protege world and after building my protege for the last 3 years an reaching my goal of 300 hp i have decided that it has had its time and now I will be parting it out. In the mean time i want to take in as much info as i possibly can about this platform. I will also be looking to pick up a fd as well to start working on it over the winter.
I live in muskoka in the central part of ontario canada.
I just want to say i look forward to building this car and i will be making the drive in the summer to as many events and meets as possible. Thanks you and see you out there.
Jacob.

Welcome onboard! FD's are not really that hard to make reach your goal of 300whp. There's lots of info on here with builds. Post pics when you get your FD and start the build.

Do you have pics of the protege? I've always wanted a p5.

400 horsepower is pretty easy to make. Start looking into single turbo conversions and reliability mods.

Welcome bud. You wont be disappointed with an FD. I had one and had to get rid of it because of a psycho ex-wife. I should have gotten rid of her before the car.

Yeah my gf was the one who wanted me to get a new car. She said she was board at shows because I would would always win and the competition for the protege class was pretty grim
So i wanted a more competitive class
Pretty excited.
I am on the proccess of parting out my p5 now and once i get some of the cash i will buy my fd an start working.

Check the clubs' classifieds and craigslist, you'll have alot of luck finding one cheap here in the states.
