Looking to become a happy RX-7 Owner
Well, not sure how much there is to say here. Not currently an RX-7 owner, hoping to become one soon. Currently have an 89 Mercury Tracer (*shudder*) which I've amused myself with but it's FWD and pretty darn wimpy.
Didn't really get into cars (didn't have much of a chance) until about a year ago, but learning lots and have lots more to learn and hope to get a chance to do so with an RX-7. When looking into getting a better car, first looked at Camaros but ended up falling in love with the styling and differences that an RX-7 had to offer (Always been a bit more of a Japanese fan anyway).
I've been lurking on these forums without an account, reading and learning for quite a while, but a possibility just popped up so I figured I might as well get some posts in and make myself known.
I had to laugh just a little while ago because someone (can't remember who) was complaining about kids these days just taking nice cars like RX-7s and putting power into them and drifting, senselessly ruining them. Well, I'm 19 and unfortunately I have to admit that is part of my plan. I've been interested in drift since before the Fast and Furious movie, and that's what I hope to keep doing, knock it or not.
Not sure what else to add, but hoping to be an active member of the community, and we'll see what happens.
