Long time lurker, now a new member
I came to this site about 2 years ago. I initially came because I did not desire to be a "supra" kid. I've always loved the Japanese Spocom scene. So, I decided to pick a car that I would like to have.
I went through a few candidates (supra, evo, sti) when settled on the RX-7. Mainly because its different. I just never ever see one. I've seen 4 supras, 6 sti's, and like 5 evo's in my area. But only 2 FD's and 2 FC's.
I'm 21 now, and when I first came to the site I knew that there was no way I could afford an FD. I currently roll in a 99 Chevy Tracker, (used to have a 92 celica but it got totaled back when I was 16). After some saving and getting a job(s) I believe I will be able to afford an FD by around Christmas this year (I'm expecting some good deals). So hopefully I'll have myself a nice present at the end of the year. In the mean time, I'm looking to learn as much as I can before I make this huge purchase.
