IA New Guy xD

Whats going on everyone? Just thought i'd introduce myself since im new to these forums. Currently im in the process of getting a 85 GSL. The GSL was apart of the flooding that happened june this summer in Iowa. Water got up 1/3 of the way up.

I know how a rotary works, and i think its absolutely amazing and simple. I'll be sure to post a build thread and post lots of pictures. And i'll try to use the search functions for any questions i may come across while building it.

Here are some specs on this GSL (pardon me if things I say come standard on the GSL model)

Clutch type Diff
All disc brakes
new 4 port 12a
electric fan
4speed transmission from a 79 i believe

Unfortunately the car was in the Great flood of Cedar Rapids, and water got up about 1/3 of the way up the car. So the car currently does not run. It does however turn easily so it's not siezed, and I can even turn the key over to hear it GUH GUH GUH, but it doesn't start, figures eh? So I guess I'm starting off with these three options. Since wiring is all in good condition still, Im starting off with the assumption that as of now its Spark, Fuel, or Air.

so Anyways, im in the middle of buying a storage unit in order to put the car into, then i'll pick it up, but i figured id drop a line and introduce myself.

If you need any help with that Craigslist car shoot me a PM and I will do my best.

Also check midwest section, we are having a meet soon in CR.

Edit: Also I have an entire wiring harness (meaning the entire car wiring) from an 85 GSL. Its your is you want it. You just need to come get it. Hour drive isnt too bad for freebies. Its in a garage bag ready to go.
