VT Long time auto tech gets first rx7

so Im not new to the car world, but I have mostly always owned vw's, decided it was time to get a rwd car as im sick of autocrossing a fwd.

got the car in trade and its not exactly the rx7 I would have picked to own, but it will do for now. basically that just due to rust and it being a auto, both of witch are fixable.

been trolling around these pages all weakand and you all look to be good people, look forwerd to annoying you all with noob questions, altho I do use search quite a bit.

thanks all

Argh...I know how much fun an automatic 1stgen can be...get the parts and convert it to a manual 5-spd as soon as you can!

Welcome aboard! What's the name and is it just because it's an auto tranny car that you are finding no love for her?

plenty of love for her, but its just a whole new world. my name is elmer fudd from my years of being a vw nut and looking for those rabbits I use the same name on a lot of forums so people who might frequent other places might figure out its me.

name of the car is "the bad thing" because all my vw friends said I did a bad bad thing.

it will be getting a five speed..... and there is a small chance it might loose the rotary too. but for now I just need to get it running good so i reg it and so I can drive it to work and get the body work situated.

Shutter valve and you didn't want to mention the goose honking under the hood? Since we're talking animals and all...

no goose call, just a huge vac leak and a car that barely ran.
