OR Lets try this again... Greetings from Portland!!

I think I might have forgot to put my name in the last post I tried to make introducing myself...

Names Jarrett

Currently located in the heart of NE Portland, OR

Working hard to try and secure an FB GSL-SE.

I come from the distant land of Porsches. Mostly wanting to do something new. My buddy who owns an FC S5 GXL gave me rotary fever. My 944S gets such appalling gas mileage that it will actually be an added benefit of a rotary

If my intro post appears twice due to the last one I made still pending approval, PLEASE delete it by all means... Oooohh man its fun to be a n00b again

Haha! I figured that may have been a sticking point! Autobahn is self explanatory, the Don part is more of an obscure reference to a high ranking gentleman. Sort of a joking alias I made for myself after being part of the german car community.

Definitely looking forward to being part of this community. Thanks!!

Little update:

Picked up a $950 GSL-SE the other night that I had been trying to snag for a while. Got it running yesterday and took it for a spin for the first time today. FUN little car. Heres a pic taken the night I bought it:

Wish me luck finding all the issues and fixing them. I hope to have this car on the road doing DD duty pretty soon.

Congrats on the purchase! Good luck with everything it needs work on! This forum is by far the best resource for information I've ever found. I've also heard way too many horror stories about mechanics not knowing how to work on a rotary engine, so I stuck with these forums and full manual to do the work myself
