Why not get a roller thats in good condition and go from there?

 

Closest one is an FD shell for 6k, my budget is 1500

 

I've actually been looking at shells because mine has body damage. Once i've done all the mechanical stuff, I'll just transfer it to the new shell. Anyways in my search for rollers, I have found quite a bit ranging from 800- 2500. I've seen quite a few in your price range on craigslist. If you had a shell right now, what plans would you have for the car?

 

I'm not exactly allowed in the United states...

 

Plan was to put a giant cam in my 5.7L hemi, drop it and a 5 speed manual in my 86 chassis, some BC coilovers, max arms, 10"wide wheels and make a mountain car

 

That would be a sight to see. Are you going to go with the same plan for the 8 that you're gonna get?

I would keep looking. That way you get exactly what you prefer. See if there are options to have someone tow one to you maybe?

Look for the shell on these forums and craiglist, then you can discuss the delivery specifics with the owner. Thats what I would recommend.

 

Lol cant use my postal code to find cars on this site, i just don't want to deal with that kinda hassle, the duty fees at the border too might kill me so its best if i look outside of the US, sorry but I just want something to put the hemi in, i don't care if it's a mazda or a BMW, and I'd rather not buy one local and spend 15k for something on its last leg

Lol you could just log off and maybe return if you end up finding a fc or fb/sa. I'm sure you could find a way past the border and find a way to have it registered or legal. Or make it a offroad/racecar. There's almost always a way. I know in the states pretty much all Laws all have a loophole for the elite to have or do what they want legally. you just have to figure it out. Read closely and between the lines. Plus illegal is just a sick bird.
