I've been lurking for six years... bout time to say hello. In '89 I bought an '85 GSL-SE. Loved that car. In a one week about everything that could break broke; wiper motor, window lifts, exhaust doughnut, speedo). Bought a used 1991 during 1993; had it ever since. Black on black 5sp car. It does not get driven enough these days. Love the gearshift and the heavy clutch. Wish Mazda would get back to a light two-seat rotary one day, like the Gen I. The rotary needs a light car around it.

Hello from Great Bend. Sounds like you finally ended up with a keeper. These cars don't have a lot of low end torque but when the revs come on they're a lot of fun, what a rush. Everyone should drive a rotary at least once.
