Arrow Restoring my 1983 Rx7. Desperate

Hi, my name is Lee.

I currently own, I am guessing, a 1983 Mazda rx7. I am really not sure what year it was made, I have been looking for pictures online to determine, I have found 1983 to be the closest. I also only have 1 picture posted as I am not home to take more. I will post more soon.

My dilemma is first of all, I am not familiar with the Rx7 and so are my mechanics back home, we do have the manual in hand, and the most recent replacement was the water pump. My mechanic is good with cars so he can deal with any car, but still rotary is very specific. Second, I want to know what are the necessary parts to increase horsepower and torque on this car and still keeping it original? Thirdly, where can I get parts for the first generation Rx7?

I love my Rx7 and I want to make it run like a brand new clock. If anyone knows anything about restoring a Mazda rx7 please message me so I can have some info on where to begin. I don't want to remove parts from the mechanical system and end up destroying it. I wish I had more pictures to show, soon I will.

Thanks

Hey Fred,

Thank you for your reply. As soon as I get home I will check the vin and the year model and will contact you regarding the issues the car might have and steps to restoring the car.

I plan on taking some videos of the car too just to show a better look on the condition of the car.

Thanks again for the reply. I will be in touch soon.

Cheers!
