Hey guys, my name is Morgan and I'm new to the site. I don't own an rx7 right now, but I'm looking to buy one. The rx7 will always be special to me since it was one of the first cars I ever rode in. When I was young, my uncle would drive me in his second gen rx7 (FC), and at the time, I simply referred to it as the "yellow car". Years later, I would get to know the car by name when I saw a modified version of it in a movie (Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift). I remember wanting to know what model the "orange car" was and I realized: It was a newer version of my uncle's old "yellow car".

So I started digging into the history of the rx7 and the rotary engine, looking into the origins of the Wankel engine, and mazda's development of the Rx or Rotary eXperimental car series. From there I could only wish.

I'm currently a college student, but I hope to find an rx7 and build it up as I develop. I want it to grow up with me as I slowly progress as a driver (i'm currently taking driving lessons and looking to compete in autocross).

So I realize I have a lot to learn but I hope the community can help me with my questions and doubts.

This is actually quite similar to my story, haha..I plan on buying an n/a FC and swapping/building up a turbo s4 engine from gathered parts :P
