Hi I just joined. I bought a 87 Mazda rx7 the other day. I have always wanted one and a friend of mine told me his neighbors had one for sale so I went to talk to them. Turns out they were about to put a V8 in it then decided not to and just sell it. I ended up only paying $1000 for it. It seems to run great. They said it had been sitting for a while and might have some bad gas in it but I drove it home just fine. I am still getting used to it but I really like the way it corners.
I learned a bit about these cars back in high school and remember the rotary. Its an awesome motor. Only thing is it is gold with maroon interior. I might be looking to replace the interior, but then again the 80's look is getting kinda cool these days.
Anyway hope to learn some here and see what this site is all about.
