Good day all, my name is Joe.

I have owned all three generations of rx7’s and my current is the 93 touring model.

Bought the ride in 96 and the motor blew three months later…my mechanic who rebuilt my motor on my 86 which also blew said the 93 was ridden hard and put away wet. Turbo’s cooked as well. (When I say motor blew I mean seals went Poof). Brought back bad memories writing that.

When I got it back from the re and re… words could not explain the shear feel of that ride as the turbo’s spooled up.

Thanks to my dad who financed my blunder of a purchase and a shout out to Tekam auto who did the re and re.

The car sees little action year after year as my three kids take president. It has cost me nothing but money but I will never sell her, I even went through a divorce and managed to keep her but it did cost me my right arm.

It has wear and tear from the previous owner and few extra deep scratches in 18 years I have owned it she lives. I signed up here to start expanding my knowledge of this most finicky little beatch.

I will fumble my way through the site researching my current issue where the driver’s door amp has called it quits. I am looking at a cost effect way to get the sound system working. Not interested in the big bang boom systems.
