OK Japan calling...

Hey there. Dave here signing in from Okinawa in southern Japan. Don't have an RX-7, but I'm very close to taking N3philum's FC off his hands. That is, if I can get any idea as to why it's not starting!

Not got any experience with rotaries, but am always up for a new challenge. In Japan I've had a very slow Mazda Carol, and then a pretty damn quick drag-ready Mitsubishi Evo I, and am currently rolling about in a Suzuki Alto Works (3-cylinders and 660cc of turbocharged goodness!).

Anyway, if I do get hold of this car I'll probably be using this site as a big resource for info. Excuse any initially dumb questions. I learn quickly though!

Thanks guys. Well it looks like I'll be asking a lot more questions here as I've told N3philum that I'll be taking his red FC off his hands. I'm just hoping I've not bought a big red paperweight!

Well I'm confident some ideas on here combined with me randomly prodding at things with a screwdriver will get it started soon!

You get that thing home yet, or to a place to work on it.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with that. I could do with getting it down to my place somehow (which is quite a way in the time it takes, not so much the distance), but where it is means that it's much closer to people who know about those cars and who have a much more comprehensive set of tools.

A few not-very-exciting pics to whet the appetite of my still non-starting FC3S. Hopefully the situation will change after this weekend.
